Reading is Magic
In this show packed with music, amazing magic, kid friendly comedy, live animals, audience participation, children are encouraged to discover their own magic in books and the library. The “Reading is Magic” magic show is the perfect way to generate excitement and increase participation in reading and proper use of the library and books. The show promotes turning off the TV, video games and cell phones to see just how cool, exciting and thrilling reading can be. It encourages children to read and helps them realize that whatever they want to learn can be found in a book. This show educates and entertains! The show is about 40-45 minutes long.

The 45-minute Halloween Magic Show is designed for Children and Ghouls of all ages. Themed around Halloween, the show includes Ghosts, Vampires, Frankenstein and special appearances by “Jacko the Jack-o-Lantern of Mystery”. The show uses music, amazing magic, hilarious comedy, live animals and lots of audience participation to create an enjoyable experience
for the whole family. The show is designed for the ages 3-100 depending on the group attending. This show can be shortened upon request.
Halloween Safety Magic Show
The 45-minute Halloween Safety Magic Show is basically the same as the Halloween Magic show but also teaches children that Halloween can be really fun, but there are some safety concerns that they should keep in mind.
Some topics discussed during the show:
- Carrying a flashlight
- Costume Safety
- Staying with your group/your parents
- Going to houses that have lights on
- Staying on sidewalks and not in the street
- Wearing something bright or reflective at night
- Being polite
- Safe candy
As children learn best while having fun, this show teaches these important safety concepts in a fun and friendly manner. This show is both entertaining and educational. Make this Halloween something they will always remember!
Christmas Magic Show
The Christmas Magic Show is designed for the whole family. Themed around Christmas, the show includes Candy-canes, Rudolph, Santa and you never know, it may even Snow! The show uses holiday fun magic, family friendly comedy, live animals and lots of audience participation to create an enjoyable experience for everyone. The show is about 40-45 minutes long. blue and gold cub scout banquets
Ed was a Cub Scout, Webelos, and a Boy Scout (rank Life/Order of Arrow) in his youth. He has been performing at Blue and Gold Banquets since he was a teenager. His Blue and Gold Banquet Comedy Magic Show is filled with thrills and excitement for everyone. It will entertain scouts, sibling and adults alike! This show is packed with astonishing magic, kid friendly comedy, music, live animals, and audience participation. If you would like to see your pack laughing, smiling and applauding, my Blue and Gold Banquet Comedy Magic Show is a guaranteed way to make this happen. The show will have the entire audience “oohing” and “ahhing” over the amazing things being performed right in front of their eyes! Your Scouts have worked really hard to achieve their goals and rank. adult magic show
Ed’s Adult Magic Show is not dirty or blue. It uses more sophisticated magic than used in his children and family shows. This is a high-energy show that uses Lots of Audience Interaction, Jaw-Dropping Magic, Comedy, Mentalism, Escapes, Death Defying Feats and Controlled Chaos to create an event that your guess will not forget.
strolling magic
This type of magic has many names. It’s also known as “walk around magic” or “mingle magic”. The names say it all. Ed will stroll around your event and mingle with your guests creating magical experiences for one person or small groups. This gets guests involved directly in the magic on a personal level in a more intimate setting. The magic is performed with cards, coins, ropes and other small props, sometimes directly in the hand of the guests. This type of magic is ideal for fairs, festivals, wedding cocktail hour/receptions, events where you don’t want everyone to stop to watch a formal magic show.
